These last couple of days have been really beautiful. I don't really even know how to type how I feel about it all.
Yesterday I spent the day with the Pandas learning drums, teaching a little bit of guitar, jamming a bit, drinking lots of tea (yumyum), watching cat videos, korean "king's dessert" videos, music videos, movie trailers, listening to music, seeing little plants growing outside, getting to know each other and mooore.
I was just so happy all day. It was peaceful and also exciting to be a new environment, learning new things, creating and getting to know two crazy talented and beautiful souls who are also new to my life. I think I already miss the moment.
...Anyway, it was rad. : )
Toooodayyy I picked up a package from the post office!
I love getting things in the mail! Look at all those stamps, ahhh.
Lovely Emma, from Taiwan, sent me a small note book. I find it so special.
This notebook has been on a journey... It's already visited Oregon, New York, Italy, England and Taiwan. It's part of a Year 6 class project to help the owner (a boy from Oregon) and his classmates learn more about the world and the people who inhabit it!
It came with simple instructions:
1)Please read the journal entries written by other people
2)Please write a journal entry about yourself, your town, and any interesting facts about the area
3)Mail it to somebody else
The boy, Ben, wrote the first entry and now all these other people have written in it... And there are only a couple of pages left so I think the last one to write in it.
It was so interesting to "meet" people through their writing. I love seeing people's different hand writing. I laughed so much because one of the contributors wrote, "I would like to apologise for tearing off two pages as I kept making mistakes..." Hahaha. I do that all the time.
I first opened the notebook when I was waiting for the train. I honestly almost cried because I thought it was that cool.
On the front cover, Ben drew a little bit of the world map. It basically has all the counties MINUS AUSTRALIA. Hahaha.
The rest of the day was very pleasant. The weather was so perfect. The air was crisp and cold on my skin, but the sun was everywhere so I felt warm at the same time.
I love going to intern. Today, I coloured a whole lot of earrings and Vic and I worked on setting up the stall for the Finders Keepers Market which is on in two weeks! We laughed a lot and talked about what had been going on in our lives. Vic always seems to meet super random people each week. It is pretty hilarious. I like the conversations we have.
I'm so lucky and grateful to have some very awesome people in my life.

Rah, anyway. There is more I want to type but this is getting a bit long, I'm sleepy and the people who live above me are sooo noissyyy ROOOOOOARRRRRRRrrr rrrr.
