sleepy pie

I'm actually super tired but I want to update!

Last week:

In studio we worked with vinyl! Class was chill and happy and I learnt new things! V and I worked together to create a multi-coloured jungle with little cats running and leaping through the tree trunks into a lake. Vinyl is pretty and I was surprised how much cool shiz can be made from the offcuts!

Vic and I went to see the opening of a new children's book called "Owl Know How" by Cat Rabbit and Isobel Knowles. IT WAS SO CUTE AND CRAFTY. The exhibition space was filled with a miniature word of felt, cardboard, thread and cotton! The little felt owls they had tied to the ceiling made me cry with joy. They looked like they had just opened their eyes for the first time. I want one.

After, I met up with Chi, Frankie and Chien Yu to play guitar. Chi just bought the bigger version of my guitar so we were excited to play together! Her guitar is beautiful!! They ended up coming over to my house and we just chilled and played music!

Thursday - Weekend:

Mum and Pa came to Melbourne Thursday so we had lunch with the fam. After some cray cray fun times to Rhino I went up to my grandparent's house and stayed with them all weekend. Today we celebrated easter with copious amounts of deliciousness made by my Aunty and her best friend!

I really love spending time with my grandma and grandpa. They are so amazing for their age. They still live in their own house and also walk up and down a flight of stairs every morning and evening. (They are in their 90s!)

While I was at their house, I saw a couple of little cats playing in their garden! I went outside and played with this one little grey and white cat. It was crazy. It could jump super far. I was taking a photo of it sitting on a brick wall (there was a tree between us) and then suddenly it was right in front of my face.

During lunch my cousins and I walked around my Aunt's garden. The sun came out from behind the clouds and it was so nice to feel warmth on my skin. We took off our shoes and enjoyed the feeling of grass under our feet. I feel like I should do that more often. It's been a long time since my feet have touched the earth.

There was also this super cute and soft moss growing in my Grandparent's garden! I wanted to put my face on it...
...maybe next time
